"Get stuck in. No plates, no cutlery, no wine glasses!"
(Tweet this quote)

In the 'moo'd for a burger? A milkshake? Cocktails? Of course you are!

The Boozy Cow in Aberdeen is my new favourite place, and not just because of its fantastic name. The casual and cosy diner is kit out like a slaughter house (but in a cool way), with rustic tables, paint splattered brick walls, and retro neon signs.

If you're looking for fine dining, give this place a miss. But if you want the perfect place to hang out and chat with friends, while drinking some of the best cocktails in the city this is the place for you. Big burgers, onion rings and skinny fries are all served on a platter - and there's not a set of cutlery in sight! Don't ask the staff for any either, you'll get a good ol' lecturing and maybe even a boot out the door if you do. Stick to the rules and dig in with your hands. It's fun!

Food: We ordered two chilli cheese burgers, skinny fries and onion rings. It's fair to say that when it comes to a big dirty burger, the Boozy Cow is king (or queen). I highly recommend, even though your hips won't. 9/10!

Cocktails: Boozy Cow Iced Tea (not for the faint hearted). The Boozy Bar's pride and joy, the iced tea includes vodka, gin, rum and tequila, and finished with a splash of coke, lime and ice. The strong and distinctive taste fits the atmosphere perfectly. 8/10!

Service: The staff are friendly, laid back and efficient! If you haven't been before, they will explain the motions and give you some great recommendations on food and drinks. 9/10!

Atmosphere: This place oozes cool. Although, a bit on the small side, this just adds even more to the bespoke atmosphere. I'm not going to try and describe this place, it's just one of those that you have to experience for yourself. 10/10!

Next time: I've heard all about the milkshakes and floats - oreo cookie or Reese's peanut butter cup. Yes please!
